I've spent the last two-plus years working on Capitol Hill in communications roles that have given me a genuinely expansive view of the work required to run a robust communications shop. As Press Assistant for former Congressman Dan Kildee, I ran day-to-day communications for a Member Office—drafting releases, managing social media accounts, tracking press coverage, and staffing the Congressman directly for interviews. Now, as Digital Manager/Communications Fellow for the New Democrat Coalition, I manage digital strategy across a 100-plus-member caucus, drafting statements on behalf of the caucus as well as a wide range of Members and producing content that has to land across many different districts, priorities, and audiences at once.

My unique experience allows me to contribute to any team. I know how to draft a press release, build relationships with local reporters, and prep a Member for an interview, but I'm just as at home producing a podcast with more than 2.5 million views or creating vertical video content for social media. I've served in a working-class frontline district, but I also understand how to cater to the needs of an entire caucus. I’ve learned how to adapt to any environment and I look forward to finding new ways to challenge myself.

I am passionate about improving the lives of all Americans, and I am determined to work for a team whose mission I want to move forward. I graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in International Relations and a minor in Public Relations. In my free time, I enjoy singing with the Choral Arts Society of Washington, experimenting with new recipes, and spending time with friends and family.
